For all of us who are crazy about dogs this magazine is fabulous. As is relatively standard for this kind of magazine that each issue features a particular breed. However DW in my opinion provides more information in all areas as it examines the breed. The common thread running through most commentaries on this magazine is that DW is geared more to the professionals who show and breed. However I have found that one of the things I like the best about DW is that their articles focus on dogs of all kinds not just the AKC. The amount of ads seem to be a point of contention to some people but I have found them interesting and valuable in finding certain pet supplies. Ads for breeders and trainers were useful at times also. It is a thorough look at dogs of all kinds and all that encompasses. Great magazine!
